Boss WORLD Publishing is the home behind Terrence L Pounds’s growing catalog. Michelle Pounds is the founder. Terrence’s role is to help build, promote, and cross-connect the publishing brand through his books, teaching, and public platform. They have owned many businesses together and worked side by side through startups and operations. That same partnership carries into their book-writing and publishing work.
The catalog is designed as a family of distinct lanes: beginner stock-options education, poker and other card games, memoir, incarceration and successful reentry, business, family, faith, fitness, grief, reinvention, and hood and urban fiction. Spanish and other high-demand language editions are a major publishing priority, not an afterthought.

Michelle was also the owner-operator of their Bio-One franchise. Their shared business history later continued through their own independent Extreme Cleaning Company. At the HEMP 4 REAL NY launch pop-up in Harlem, across from the Apollo, she was again working beside Terrence to bring a new chapter to life.
A partnership through thick and thin.
Across their involvement, love, and marriage, Michelle has stood with Terrence through business, failures, incarceration, ministry, and rebuilding. In his words, she is his “ride or die.”

After Terrence’s release, they plan to travel together, taste food from around the WORLD, and capture their experiences through public reviews. Motivational speaking and book events could help shape that journey.
The family behind the work
A blended family of love.
Michelle and Terrence’s blended family includes nine children: eight living and one deceased, whose place in their family remains part of its story. As of October 2026, they have 17 grandchildren—and the family continues to grow.
Travel has always been a family joy. Even a trip with only part of the family can look like a huge gathering. As Terrence puts it, it is simply their immediate family together. Those memories, the food shared along the way, and the love behind them belong in this publishing story too.
